The yellow room

Its got a great story. Id rather like better is there were hints. Im at the bird cage in the tree and CANT get it down. I have a long stick but it doesnt do anything. Wish I hadnt bought it.

Not bad!

Couldve been a little better if they provided more clues as to where you needed to be at times. And is an area is no longer accessible please say so instead of allowing the player to travel all the way there first. That was annoying. Otherwise not bad for the price and I thought it was a long game too.

Pretty good!!!

Pretty good so far. If it will lets play on without wanting me to buy something, like the other games did.

Fun challenging game

Gotta use the gamezbo walk through as you only get hints during HO segments. Otherwise it is a good game.

Superior

One of the superior mystery games so far. More useful searches than the childish "find a bunch of useless junk" games, and it lets you actually figure stuff out on your own more than most games that just lead you through it. Still, I would like less direct leading and more allowance to actually figure stuff out. Over all: Great game!

Victorian mysteries the yellow room

Mostly liked it. Good storyline. Needs much improvement. Had to refer to BFG walk through too many times. Its more convenient when strategy guides are available with purchase.

From the story "The Yellow Wallpaper"?

This game must be a twist on the short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. I wonder if they had to pay for the rights?

Couldnt wait for game to be over.

I grew tired of the storyline and found it rather silly and all over the place. Map was totally useless. I would have given the game 4 stars if I could have just teleported. Map would say that an area was complete, yet not hint that you needed to go back to that area to start a new cutscene. So, you end up searching all over the map trying to figure out where youre supposed to go. The game designers must have thought that part of the fun for us players is to go through a gazillion load screens. Example: ohmigosh, you have the reporter with you at the lab...he tells you to meet him at the train station...there he tells you his news breaking information (roll eyes) and you are then clued to go all the way back to the lab again! I mean...what??? And the ending was absurd. I must have fallen asleep through one or more of the many cut-scenes that made this conclusion to the mystery make any sense...and how the reporter was able to solve it. A dream? I say hes the killer. Dude, I would have killed them all just to be through with this game.

Not great on iPhone

Not sensitive enough. I have to stab at the screen for 8 minutes to accomplish anything. Also, its difficult to get anything out of my inventory because I cant keep it open. The worst thing is, THERES NO HINT BUTTON!!
